This machine is useful to chip strips of veneer waste. The strips cut is made by a cross knife which reduces them in small pieces. With this machine it is possible to have a considerable volume reduction of waste materials which could than be drawed in by the suction plant. A belt conveyor makes the materials go toward the cutting area. The power transmission is by means of a reduction gear operating with a self-braking motor and double lateral crank drives. These machines could be placed in front of a single knife guillotine so that in spite of let the veneer waste going on the floor, they will fall on the belt conveyor which will make them go to the veneer waste chipper.
They could also be placed behind a double knives guillotine to recover and chip veneer waste produced by these machines. • Technical data
